    Sorry man, couldn't resist.

I know the 86 as well, seems like a pretty decent guy but I have heard a few people complain about him being reckless. I have watched a couple of races and he looked ok out there but I wasn't at any of the races when crashes happened.

the fans or the race director dont have to pay the cost of repairing or replacing the torn up cars or trucks . who cares what they like ? we pay mr hart for the privilage to race on his track , he certainly doesnt or wont pay a decent purse so if the so if the 30 or 40 so-called fans want to see crashes let them set up a lawn chair alongside i-4 . theres absolutly no professionalism at either fascar track . just a weekly soap opera .clyde must be rollin over in his grave in disgust . whether they like it or not major changes have to be made or both these tracks will be gone .

Doesn't want to or can't? I am happy to have a place to race (HOBBY) AND get some money for it. We all go to work to make as much as possible, do you blame him?

Sometimes I agree, especially seeing the back pit gate officials at OSW laughing after Jim Erb spun Cody Bair.

Maybe at the lack of cars, did you know him?

no they are not supposed to . my point is they have a rule book , enforce it ! sooner or later someone will be seriously injured or killed due to their laqck of disiplining the idiots . and no he doesnt want to . why should he ? you show up every week and pay him for the privilage and put on a show for his 30 0r 40 fans .if you want to race for cheeseburgers thats your problem .racing may be a hobby to some but some of us make a decent living racing . when you drive away fans and drivers you dont have a show and local buisnesses suffer as well .i have never seen so many people in denial as i have at new smyrna speedway . and yes i knew clyde very well . clyde was a great man and promoter who cared about his racers and the fans . unlike his son . im sure this is falling on deaf ears but sometimes constructive critisism can open minds . unfortunatly most of todays racers have lost theirs .

Its one thing to have constructive criticism and its another to hide behind a computer and have destructive criticism. More might listen/read if you apply the first.

super stock ? not even close sorry . and we do race somewhere else for double the payoff and no soap opera . we would prefer to race closer to home but it just isnt worth the hassle . racing is supposed to be fun ,you cant have fun when theres no rules or organization . if you are all happy with the way things are then more power to ya ! what works for some wont work for others . the people on this board all seem to praise fascar , but your the only ones because anywhere else you go NOBODY has anything good to say about fascar . denial , fear and lack of common sense rules this board . things can get much better with fascar but eveyone needs to help . settling for less wont get the job done . some like spam some like steak ! i give up just like fascar , nobody cares !

Objection! New drivers tend to spin out on their own. The gloves don't fit, you must acquit!

Fair enough. He is smooth, but maybe not perfect.

If you want to discuss a perfect driver, then you can talk about ME.

                            Ruling

After careful study, the jury finds that this picture, "exhibit A", could be taken two different ways. Either the 86 car bumped 00 and got him loose, OR, 00 overdrove the car trying to stay in front of 86 and just lost it all on his own. Too hard to tell from one picture. VERDICT---- inconclusive evidence!! BTW, GREAT website you got there Boneman!

I have been amazingly quiet since one of the posters has no clue on what he/she speaks about... If you were there or watched the footage... The 00 deliberately turned him going to 4... No niceties involved, not even trying to hide it... Just pure plain dumb driving... It is nothing personal... Just by being there in person and having it done right in front of me, as well as in front of FASCAR officials... Now despite what you may or may not think/know... Earlier in the same race, the 00 tried banging him as well...

Now let's chat about professionalism in driving... It shouldn't matter what happened in the last race!!! The race that you are driving in should be the race that matters... No ifs, ands, or buts... Regrettably, that is the one fact that many people seem to have forgotten these days... There is no place and/or room for vendettas on the race track... If you have a problem with a person, take it up with him/her seperately and off the track... We cannot afford for someone to do something like this, and endanger our track(s)... I will admit that the 86, has bumped him as well so don't think I am on one side or the other...

Stupidity like that does several things for racing.... #1--it gives it a black eye, showing just how infantile and childlike we racers are.... #2--It gives young people and young drivers a horrible example to live by... Especially if those same younger people and/or drivers want to continue in or follow the sport... #3--It gives racing, the sport, the hobby, and the industry a very and I mean VERY unprofessional image... #4--I know that Mr. Trombley (00) driver has been driving for several years now and should know better than that... You have to remember if you drive like that, your children or other people may follow the same lead...

Now don't get me wrong, I thank the man for buying John's car and continue to race, but let's all grow up and prove to everyone that we can be professionals in our pursuits, hobbies, and everything else... But not going to tech (and being dq'ed) shows an uprofessional image as well as a disregard for the rules that we as drivers must obey by to pursue our sport, hobby, and/or career..

As always, I am available in real life at NSS as well as OSW most weeks, so if you want to discuss things further great, but don't portray a one sided picture of things and then try and defend them when incorrect...

                              Go Fast and Turn LEFT!!!!

                              Have a great day all....

PS.... If my opinion isn't liked, then don't read it... If you read it, then look at the broader point of view that several of us are trying to point out... This isn't the Hatfields and McCoys... This is racing!!!! So take heed that many of us just pure plain love the sport and want it to continue to thrive and survive for our generation and future generations...

And yes the 86's car was back up and ready the other day... He isn't rich, just loves to race...
