Here are some old pictures I took in 1973 at Amarillo Speed Bowl in Texas... While I was stationed at Cannon AFB in Clovis, NM, I'd make the two hour drive to Amarillo for the races every Saturday night... The track was a really wide quarter mile carved out in a valley... The front and backstetch "walls" were solid clay... Ran NCRA Supermods and Stock Cars and always put on a heck of a show... The old NCRA cars were really neat... The #92 here was Larry Dewell who was from Dallas, I believe... The pics are from a Sunday show that wrapped up their season in '73 - The NCRA Southwestern Championship....
