Tire specifications for Volusia Speedway Park and the United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series are somewhat varied, but they are working together to achieve the most equitable Late Model playing field possible for the Scott Thompson Memorial on June 27, 2009.
Tires allowed will be Hoosier D-21 and D-55, Crate 21 and Crate 55, LM 20, 30, and40.
Tires will be punched and must meet the following minimum punch requirements:
LM20, D21 and Crate 21 – minimum punch 40
LM30 – minimum punch 50
LM40, D55, Crate 55 – minimum punch 60
