Bronson Motor Speedway tried to race tonight but came up short. It stormed and poured all around the speedway, but the track never got anymore than light showers. We had a good practice session and made it until the driver's meeting, but persistent light showers kept blowing in and that kept many folks away.
Gotta hand it to track management for getting with everyone and getting their vote to race or not to race before making a choice. The vast majority decided to come back next week and try again, so everyone got rain checks and will be back next Saturday.
Fans can hang on to their ticket stubs and present them for free admission next week. Racers and crew please present your arm bands for admission.
And the management of Bronson Motor Speedway has asked me to please thank all of you who came out and tried to beat Mother Nature. Your support is appreciated!
