  • A tale of exceptional service

I took a car to Speedworld last night, and found myself in the unusual position of being "on the trailer" at 6:00. My hydraulic clutch master cylinder was not working and I could not locate one in the vicinity of the track. So I threw the "Hail Mary" pass and called KARNAC's own Duane, the "Flraceguy". He works part-time at Taylor Racing in Edgewater. When I explained the problem, Duane and Mike, another Taylor employee, drove the 45+ minutes to the track to deliver a new master cylinder. THEN they went to work and installed it too!

There is no part on my car that is less accessable than the clutch cylinder. Mike hung upside-down in the driver's seat for at least 45 minutes to get under the dash and plumb the cylinder in. I'd like to remind you that it was sunny and at least 90 degrees at the time.

Anyway, Mike and Duane worked until it was done and I could race. I was darn impressed!

I paid them for the gas and for their work, and it looks like everyone is satisfied. Racers in this area are fortunate to have several excellent race shops to support us. This was my introduction to Taylor Racing, and I could not have been more pleased. Thanks for saving my night.

I hear Todd Mcreary the "Nursing Home Pimp" also has exceptional service
with his new buisness T&A Mcreary's Elderly Escort Service. He gives great discounts for AARP members but has underage specials as well.

Ps. while at I hop I learned that Rex is also in the same buisness. That is how he can aford to race with 4 kids and also explains how he got the name "Boneman"

I quit fishing because there was no one handing out money at the docks when i got back. Why did you quit racing?

LOL, thats pretty funny, too bad I had to miss it. Bonedude must be pretty good in order to race and have 2 cars THAT RUN at the same time.

D-wayne and that Mike guy worked there butts off. I did a good job of watching. Todd made funny jokes and Mike Seay did nothing, as usual.

Sorry guys but that was the worst mini stock race that I have ever seen. I think the flagman dropped his black flag or something. I saw some VERY poor sportsmanship. I would like to see a little more class from some of these guys.

I think it was the race for 4th in the trucks that was most impressive. Side by side for several laps, lots of respect and good clean racing. Nice job guys, thats what racing is about. I don't think anybody knows who won.

New winner is super stocks too. Brent ran a good race. 2nd place was giving him a run for his money.

Supers had a great class of cars. Some didn't exactly show class but there, cough cough, I am gonna pull in because I AM NOT HAPPY, but there was some good ones there. Pretty cool to see a couple of old timers up front.

Overall I am glad to see car counts up and a decent night. Food in the pits was awesome!
