  • Chris Fontaine !

Just talked to Chris and he is sooooo happy. He's having a blast racing the Craftsman truck... his next race is Saturday at 2 and will be televised on Speed channel...
He parked next to Mario Gosselin who is another of our locals gone NASCAR... Chris said he really misses racing his late model but the expenses are so high right now he puts every penny back into the truck.
I told him about James Glover winning this week at Desoto and he said he was really happy as James has had some troubles getting a win the last couple years and is a great driver deserving of this win...
He thanks us for our support and hopes he can be back soon to race for us...
I asked if he could be a guest on RRUSA and he said he would be happy to...so keep reading the message board and I will post... his excitement is infectious! so happy for him and I am looking for a win soon...
    GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CHRIS!!!!!

Chris Fontaine and the BDH Construction #84 NCWTS race team are taking on their biggest challenge to date in the 2009 season by running the Michigan 200 at the two-mile Michigan International Speedway this Saturday, 6-13.

"I want to get the experience at Michigan, and look forward to the opportunity to improve," Fontaine said.

The race will be televised at 1:30 pm on SPEED.

This will be the third race for Fontaine's newly formed truck team. With only two races under their belts, the former late model team has a 20th place finish at Martinsville and a career high 14th place finish at Dover.

"We are doing great. There is always room for improvement, but with our lack of experience I think we are doing great. With time and more experience we are going to do a lot better," Fontaine said.
