just got a call from a fan. there are about 3,000 to 4,000 people there and they are still piling in!!! Racing is over and Charlie Daniels is ready to perform.

The Open wheels ran about 16 cars. Kent McLean won followed by Eric Rudd and third was Doug Moff....

Joe Winchell and Pummel Jr. won the switchoff race!

Sounds like a heck of a fun night at CCMP!!!!

Carol unless Lb Skaggs was DQ'd he got 3rd in the owm. Man what a race. That was kents first win ever. Now thats special. The fans were every where. I have never seen so many people at CCMP. I thought the monster trucks brought them out but Charlie Daniels outdid them. I stayed and listened to a little music and then skedadled. Was a good night. An early night I might add.
