        have an idea!

lets plan on an inexpensive way to go next year. a group plan... maybe take a van load up and we can share expenses... im serious Rick... im in if you are... we could take a couple vans... lol it wont cost too much. if we save a few bucks every week and put it aside specifically for the trip we can do it... let me know.

I think Hornish's crew Chief Travis Giesler should get one of his daddy's cars and go and play because Travis is a good Dirt Late Model driver. His Dad is Lynn Giesler a top Dirt Late Model driver from western PA and he is in the Dirt Late Model hall a fame

Why don't we try to get a "Prelude to the Powell" next year with these drivers? This country's big enough for 2 shows.

              How about....

putting together a chartered bus trip with a big sign on the side for who ever sponsors the trip?
Like a one low price for the ride up and back including the over night stay at the local moe tell no tell.

I'll Help Drive The Bus -

Been in that business for 101 years (CDL-All endorsments).

Florida Tracks can co-sponser the trip by having drawings at each track and each track "Send" X number of fans to the "DREAM" Trip/Hotel/Race Ticket "PAID". One provision = the fans agree to come back to their local track and discuss the trip/race during an interview in front of the local fans. The tracks can write off the expense as advertising.

Now lets not get stupid and use one of these "Used" school buses sitting around after some figure 8 race... we need to have a nice ride...

Damn, I'm getting excited (calm down Carol), just thinking about going up to the DREAM.

They actually have an airport in Punta Gorda?

I saw where Jeff Gordon backed out because of his back.

The Prelude has just been postponed till September. Rained out. Sure wouldn't want to ride all the way up there on a bus and have that happen.

Boy they dodged a bullet there - I'm sure they were all quaking in their boots envisioning the whooping Casey Mears was going to put on them...
www.FloridaSprintCarFans.com - because Florida sprint car racing needs all the help it can get...

i think jeff gordon is probably not going to be racing much longer. its really a shame as he is a good racer. that kind of pain is dangerous out there on the track. i think he may stay involved tho....
the airport authority in Punta Gorda owns the property our track is on. thats why we have a curfew... Bobby leases it. i believe they now have 2 airlines running out of there but i dont know much...i am going to call when i get a few minutes...
