  • ASA at New Sonia. Larson wins!!!

There may have only been 12 car at the race but they were all quality cars. That was pretty clear when Cope was the tail of the field.

Justin Larson had that thing on rails. "Riding high not afraid to die". Sonia is a bottom feeder track but Justin made his own groove way higher than everyone else and left the field. Drew Brannon's car wasn't that good all day and was out to lunch in the race after the goody wore off of the tires. Dustin Dunn's car was the fastest car in practice but he drew #1 to qualify. So he had to sweep the track off everyone else.LOL That is the 7th time he drew #1 to qualify. He blew a brake caliper seal around lap 20 and limped home in 7th after turning the second fasted lap of the race. Nasse ran a great race battling with the Zaxby's car all night and getting his first top three.

Did I mention that it stayed green for 100 laps. No cautions.

    Top three after New Sonia
    1)Drew Brannon
    2)Dustin Dunn
    3)Justin Larson

Here is the story from ASA.
