Nice Job Volusia!

Alot of us are guilty of coming on here and complaining about things at a track or poor programs, low car count etc etc, heck I have done it. But I have to give proper credit when credit is due and I thought the stimulus promotion last night was a very nice gesture at Volusia Speedway park. If you showed proof of unemployment, you could get in free for a family of four, and they even gave you two free hot dogs vouchers on the tickets. I don't know how many people took them up on this offer, but I thought it deserved recognition. Very Classy move Volusia, nice job.


(PS)-the races were very good too, and with all the rain we have had, the track crew deserves major kudos as well getting that mud, turned into a nice racing surface.

It really was a good night and a very nice gesture on Volusia's behalf for the STIMULUS NIGHT. When you have no money to spare, going out is out of the question usually but Saturday night if you had the gas money to get there, Volusia treated you to a night out. I don't know how many took Volusia up on the offer but I do hope that some did. Nice to know that people do care and want to help in some way and Saturday at Volusia, that was obvious.
