Auburndale has had Open Wheel Modified's scheduled for June 6 from the beginning of the season. This will be a double points night since their last scheduled race was rained out. For more information log on to www.auburndaleracing.com

Not picking on Auburndale , but did the track tell anyone else about the schedule ? Probably not . Auburndale decided to run the modifieds on June 6th , ( i'll take your word that it was done at the beginning of the season ) and let all of their racers know , and put it on the Auburndale web site . The other tracks in Florida aren't going to check the Auburndale web site before they schedule a race .
My point is , if the tracks really want to stop running races on top of each other , then they need to send a copy of their next years schedule to all of the other tracks at the end of each season . Then honest mistakes will be eliminated . The reason this doesn't happen is that tracks are afraid their competition will schedule races against them intentionaly , and i know some track owners that would jump at the chance . But if all tracks give each other their schedules at the begining of each season , then only crooks and lowlifes would knowingly put a race on top of someone else . Then the racers and fans can take over by not attending the offenders shows at all .
But if tracks are expecting other tracks to read their schedules online , they're kidding themselves .

In the begining of the year Auburndale only raced OWM on the 4th week. Oh well things must be good. Our schedule was 1st and 3rd from the begining. Hope they want the be part of the Charlie Daniels Show
