Nice to see David finally get one. I think they figured had nothing to lose not pit and hopefully a rain out and if not then they had time to get back to the front if they had the car before the race ended. He's not the only one that got a win from a rain out.

he gets alot of money im sure he can use to have a better car and he gets ahead in points and probably alot more exposure... i think he is one very happy man tonight. alot more comes from being a nascar winner than not to be one. ;-) i do understand tho what you're saying. they made a right choice. its all part of the game.

it could not have have happened to a better family too see buzzie and david and the look they shared was price less i have knowed them for over forty years i'm sure emil and dale were looking down from heaven and the rain was tears of joy good job david ever body had radar in there 100.000 dollar pit house why was they not watchin the weather i saw it on my phone no way were they going to finish that race

David didn't steal a thing... you steal a race when you cheat. His crew chief took a chance and it paid off. Races are all about what you are going to do vs. what the other racers are going to do. He got himself in a good position by taking that chance.
Who would not take that win and run with the money with a smile on their face if they owned that car or would they hang their head and say "GEE, I STOLE THAT RACE" -

Thats the only way he will win a sprint cup race. I think the should have went to the leader at the last green flag. He didnt deserve to win. all of you that say so is crazy!!!!!!
