Not about racing but wanted to share...

Almost 13 years ago, I could not imagine something special happening in my life. Tonight my son will walk across the stage as a high school graduate. When he became so ill with Type 1 diabetes, I never thought he would live to see this day let alone the first few days after being diagnosed. He definitely proved me wrong and has shown me so many things in my life that I could never imagined. He is someone that does not let his diabetes get him down no matter how many times a day he has to test himself or how many shots he has to do now.

I am very proud of him and all that he has accomplished and will be accomplishing in his life to come. Way to go Chris and all of the Class of 2009!!!!

That is great Cara. I know how it feels to have a sick kid and not know if they will make it to graduate or not, much less if they will grow up or not. I know the road has not been easy for you or Chris but today he is a handsome young man on the path to a great future. Congratulations Chris on your graduation and next one - college.

Thanks Jane. Chris was accepted to ITT Tech in Lake Mary but we just could not afford it right now so he will be attending Valencia.
