This photo is of my good friend Speedy Reeves after he won one of the qualifying races for the 1975 Governor's Cup at Golden Gate... Speedy is joined by "Miss Golden Gate Speedway." Anybody recognize her?

By the way, the guy sitting on his car to the left is former Governor's Cup winner Don Gregory...

I'd know Carol "OZ" Wicks anywhere.... I remember those days when OZ would smile for the camera in the winners circle.

OZ is still a "Sports Model", just a tad bit slower getting down those steps onto the track... by the time she gets to the winners circle, they have started the next race.

Another Guess

I bet that is Johnny Hicks little lady huh?
In some of those later years, she really helped ole Johnny in the flag stand (set of lights - hint hint).
Remeber the night the "Stand Came Down" with Johnny still in it (broken leg) - car climed the wall/fence and kept going until a good portion of the place was level with the walkway.

The lovely lady is one of Jimmy Riddle's daughters, Charmagne (sp?) who, the last I knew. was later married to Jim Childers. All the Riddle daughters were very attractive ... considering what the male side of the family looked like, obviously they got their looks from their mom's side ... as well as Frank and Jimmy, you could throw John Scalise into the family tree ... a portrait of those 3 would break anyone's camera.
