Columbia Motorsports Park Schedule Revised

Columbia Motorsports Park has revised the 2009 schedule. We have added 3 Open Wheel Modified races. You may run your treaded tires from your track or you may purchase Hoosier tires that we run. The first race will be on June 6th and all are welcomed. There is a Mini-Stock 50 lap race added on July 11th. More information will be forth coming on the Modified races, watch for it you may be very surprised.

Thank you George...I would love to see some out of state cars there. The third show in August is going to be a surprise to everyone. Don is planning a big one.

I need little bit of clarification. are both treaded and slick tires being allowed to race in the modified races?

Yes, we know that some tracks (Citrus) run treaded tires and they have asked if they can run their track tire. The Hoosiers are slicks. There will be NO other slicks run.

It's great to see another track stepping up to the plate and putting on another big modified race. I would think you would see a good car turnout since they have decided that you can run your treaded or hoosier slicks. Let's see Bronson put up 3000 grand and now CMP it putting up 2000 grand and planning on having 2 more modified races with something big for the one in August. Would be nice if they would post the hole payout but again thanks for the chance to run again for a bigger payoff.
