  • Story On Ms. Peggy on speed51

I let Matt know at speed51 that Ms. Peggy had pasted away. Matt spent many hours during speedweeks in the tower at New Smyrna with Peggy and I knew he would want to know. Her is the story Matt did Remembering Peggy Kincaid.

I think it would be only fitting to name the tower in honor of Ms. Peggy.. I think Mark should have no trouble making a sign "The Peggy Kincaid Tower..."

Sounds good to me too Dave. And Peggy would love that for sure.

It only proves that we touch each other's heart in many ways. Sometimes we think that no one even knows we exsist because we are little fish in a big pond. But that is not always true.

When Peggy passed, I let Matt know at speed51 because I knew he would care. He and Jason both are good guys and they do thank you for your help. I have worked with Jason for many years for Winter Nationals at Orlando and he has always, always thanked me for everything I did for him. In racing, you are seldom thanked for what you do so when you are, it means alot.

I spent quite a few years in that tower with speed51 and Ms. Peggy and she always took care of us. I knew they would care and also Bill Posey. Peggy touched many hearts and hopefully she knew that and she deserved to be recognized for all she did for us.

Any time I went to NSS and went to the spotters tower I always started up early to be able to stop in the tower and see Ms Peggy, she always gave me a big hug and told me how great it was to see me. I will miss seeing her and getting that hug. May God Bless her. LeRoy
