We are in the process of getting all the facts before making a decision.
Not wanting to make a wrong decision when come to racing calls and decisions such as this. Normally I do not get involved and let the Race Director and his capable Staff make a call about the race. This is much more than single call. This may be ongoing issues and we (The Sport) can't let something like this go without getting all the facts. I was in the office at the time of the ascendant. So I did not see what happened. Knowing that there are always two or three sides or even four or five views to a problem. We are in the middle of getting information to take the proper action. This happened at the opposite end of the track with the Race Leaders. Most were watching the Leaders. So far I interviewed Bob Video man, Jason Announcer, Greg the Race Director, Gary Operations Director, Robert Cyber Radioman, and have calls into the third car involved and his spotter. Once all the views and sides have been evaluated can we make a decision about a problem such as this one. Please allow us the time it takes to make the right decision.
Short Track Racing is a Professional Sport and should be treated as such. We do not want the make a premature decision.
Thanks for your interest.
