backdoorbob, Jacob Warren built our motor, we are the ones that pulled the head off and had it resurfaced. We had pulled it two or three times in tech and we had a blown head gasket one other time. It was our mistake to not have it re cc'd. We just didnt think about it. We will the next time though

We'll What was the purpose of dynoing the 64, or any car for the matter? The rules don't say there is a limit to how much power a motor is aloud can make. So the few supers stock that have been pulled have all been in the 200 to 220 hp. range. So if the 64 would have got any more then that, he must be cheating is what everyone would have assumed. Would that have lead to a tear down of the motor? It dose not seem right at all for this to have been done using equipment that is affiliated with numerous cars that run the same class as there assisting to tech. I did over hear Donnie saying "we are doing this just to get some numbers", Why would they need numbers. If the track was doing this to "get numbers" what would have happened if the car blew up on the dyno after being threaten " If you don't do it you can find somewhere else to race". Would the track have paid for repairs? Believe me I know of two cars last year who were running 383's and still were only getting top 5's. Anyone who has looked at the Orange cars know they take are very serious about super stocks. When most guys come to the track hoping to win, They come to the track expecting to win.
I bet the dyno wont show up this coming friday... they got what they wanted "orange car" and got let down.

What were the numbers on the other cars? What other cars got teched? Seems to me the car that won the 50laps a couple weeks ago was trying to get it on the dyno but they couldnt because it was hitting the exhaust. What about the 77 or 16 car/

#00 had said his car mad 205 I think. #16 said he made 208 but nether of those were done at the track. It's seems if the really wanted to get the car that won the 50 lapper on their, they could have. the ramps for the dyno were a little to high, but 2x6 boreds were on hand for the 64. go figure

oh yeah, thanks for reminding me. at one time i had thought i had accomplished pretty much all there was to do at the levels that i have raced at: stunk up the show, won the race, broke down, totaled the car out, etc.

i forgot one thing. i don't think i've ever been DQ'd. obviously i'm not trying hard enough.
