Got an e-mail from my brother Rick and the shipment of the newly reprinted "The Beginning" is here. For those of you who love dad's books, here is another one to add to your collection. You can get them at patricksmithonline.com and if you need it autographed and live close to me, I will be happy to take it to dad and have it signed.
Poor dad just signed 38 books for Bill Posey to be sold at $1000 each at a benefit I think in Washington. Plus he signed 36 more for Harris Rosen, owner of Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando. Mr. Rosen has one of his fancy dining rooms named after dad's book "A Land Remembered" and I have been told the food is very, very good but expensive.
Anyway, the book is here now and available.
