  • $100 Bounty Friday at Orlando All Star Superstock 50 on Team Cuddy !

    The Orange cars.....team Cuddy..have a bounty on them !
Winner now could pocket $600 bucks !

Boneman is putting up 50 dollars, Orlando Speedworld will match it to anyone who beats them fair and square.......hmmmmm ? Definition of fair and square is this: You can't spin them, knock them out of the way, you must beat them on the track and one of the two cars must be running at the end. No bounty paid if they have mechanical failures. If you win on the track you must pass tech as well.

OK there are the rules......................Boneman bring your money to me Friday and we will get r done !

    Thanks

      In addition: From www.floridaracinghistory.com:
$50 to the highest finishing Speedworld REGULAR driver who has not won a feature in the past three years... This is for the guys that support our show on a regular basis but have not gotten that first place trophy yet... Of course we welcome all the NSS, Auburndale, Citrus, Desoto etc. drivers to be there too... Maybe somebody will throw a bone their way too!

                ambiguity in the rules

now is they bounty still paid if orange wins and then is found illegal. If this happens does 2nd or even possible 3rd win the bounty by default. I'm not saying this is going to happen, just playing Devil's advocate.

Also i understand the bounty getting tossed if they get taken out, but mechanical failure should not be a reason. Most cars/drivers can't make 50 laps, should the winner really be penalize 100 bucks just because he made it all 50 where as other cars didn't.

Another thing does everyone that beats team orange get the 100 or just the winner. If they finish in 4th that's 3 team that have all done what was required to receive the bounty.

But is it really beating someone if they take themselves out with a mechanical issue? That presents a what-if situation and you can't really give out a prize based on speculation. Okay, maybe in physics, but not in racing.

I have nothing to do with the decision, but speaking as a fan, I would believe that if a Cuddy car wins and is found illegal, then the money should be paid to the winner.

In case of a mechanical failure, the orange car would have defeated itself and the money should not be paid.

Just my humble opinions....and I think my money is safe!

This is great!!!! I can't make the race to watch, but I'll be watching for the results, to see if anyone collects the Bounty.

We did the exact same thing for a small class that I was involved in in 2007 ($100 bounty posted, after the same driver had won two straight features). That night, we had 11 additional entries show up (above the average). Although the person who had the bounty on his head initially won the feature, he was dq'd in tech. The bounty was then paid to the driver who crossed the line in second.

                      Good luck to all!

as the guy who volunteered his money in the first place, your opinion is the only one that counts. it should be done on your terms and no other.

the bounty was collected, even though Bobby lost his transmission and pulled in the infield at about the halfway point and Billy was wrecked out with less than 5 laps to go.

is there any explanation as to why this clear stating of the rules was changed?

if so, did anyone from the track bother to ok this with Rex?

The Bounty will be paid to the Winner of the Race if they beat the Cuddy Cars fair and square even if it is mechanical !

If the Cuddy Car wins and is found Illegal the $100 will go to second, if second is the other Cuddy car and he is legal, no bounty will be paid. If he is illegal, then 3rd gets it if they are legal.

The only way the bounty is not paid is if one of the Cuddy Cars win, or if they are taken out unfairly to win !

                          Bring it on !

Todd did you see this post that Rick Bristol put up before the race on Friday and going by this there are several reasons why the bounty should of been paid.

I was told that a tranny line came off on the 52 car, not sure if its 100% true, but what I was told. If this is the case or even if it was total catastrophic failure of the tranny, the car couldn't make it 50 laps. For a Super Stock a 50 lap race is as long as a NASCAR race. So why should Chad be penalized for being in a car that could make it all 50 laps.

As for the 64 car, he was not taken out unfairly. He took himself out along with several other car throughout the night. Chad the winner of the bounty had nothing to do with the wreck that took out the 64 car, so once again why should he be penalized for being able to avoid the wrecks all night long.

Mr McCreary once again stirring the pot !

The bounty was made clear on Karnac with my post, as a couple of things came to my attention I may have not thought about ! If Rex is not happy with his bounty, let him call me and I will be happy to give him his $50 back. It was paid according to what I posted in the "Let me clear up the bounty" post.

Rex if you are unhappy with the bounty deal please call me, that way Mr. McCreary is not speaking for you. I will be happy to make it right with you. I thought overall it made an exciting event, I certainly did not like seeing the damaged cars, but I can tell you the fans had a ball and were talking it up.
