Columbia Motorsports "The Don" 100 Late Model

Saturday, May 9th will be the first annual "The Don" 100 lap Late Model race. Some of the names in the basket so far are Wayne Anderson, Randy Anderson, Jessica Murphy, Eddie Gainey, Jason Garver, Doyle Boatwright, Jason Vail, Kevin Henry, Kevin Dicks. Remember yellow laps count until the last 10 and those are run under green. Come practice on Friday, camp free and have fun. Pennzoil will have awards for the racers, Progressive engines will have Fast Qualifier for $100. Will keep you updated as to new racers that call and let us know they are coming.

I think i left Dons' name off of my rant concerning open tire rules and the track owners who didn't bother to respond . Mike Peters was good enough to furnish some very good comments from a track owners perspective , and since Don has been involved in racing almost forever , and i think he sells race tires , it would be interesting to hear his views . Also , he might know something about the harder tire numbers that chassisdude posted .
