Dustin Dunn off to Long Beach

ASA driver, 18 yr old Dustin Dunn signed as the tire specialist for Team Vici, an ALMS team that just signed with multi year deal T-Mobile. Lets wish him and the team good luck in their new venture. Here is a link about the teams new deal.

If he dosen't go to Salt Lake City next Thursday than he will come to CCMP for "The Greatest Show on Earth".

WOW!!! Great news!!!!

Both that Dustin future is bright and that he might make "The GREATEST SHOW on EARTH" 4-25-09 at CCMP. Not this week. TGSoE will feature "The MONSTERS TRUCKS and MOTORSPORTS" with three night of GROUND POUNDING FURY. Friday Night M/S will be the FAB 4's , Pro 4's, and the Fla Sun Coast Out Law Street Stock!!!! And Saturday Night you will see The Cars From Yesterday, CCMP Min Stock and The Q-Auto Injury Attorney's Open Wheel Modifes. Sunday the Junior Trim Shop's Road Warriors, Thunder Truck ,and Sportsman 50 laps. With Monster Truck show on all three nights. Andrew call me if your coming. Man having Dustin is always a TRILL!!!!! And Frasson, Thanks. We are very excited about his future. He is a very good kid and deserves a lot more than what I can give him on a carpenters salary.

Vici has been trying to put this deal together for over two months. Before the Seabring and St. Pete race. We are glad it is finally over and they can go racing. His ALMS deal is how he landed his corporate sponsor for the ASA season last year. This year we are on a race to race deal. That could change at ant time.

I talked to Dustin last night. It was the first day on the track for the new team with Johannes Stuck and Richard Westbrook at the wheel. They feel very good after practice. They were 4th fastest in GT3. Lets wish them good luck.

I haven't talked to Dustin yet but I just checked the results and they finished 4th in GT2 at Long Beach!!! Not bad for their first race together. They were less that 2 seconds from first place. I am very proud of the whole team. I think the race is on Speed today at 12:30. Here is the results.

Andrew... i have known you and your family for alot of years...i see you working your buns off every single race Dustin is in... I hope he is helping you...that is what will make HIM a respected good racer. it warms my heart to see the dads like you who do so much for their kids...the moms who cook and do so many things in the sidelines... i just hope the kids take on some of the burdens and EARN what good things happen to them. I have loved dustin since he was a real young guy... ;-) now i see him with a gorgeous girl on each arm while you are changing tires... ;-) GET DIRTY DUSTIN! your dad is amazing.... make sure you help him! he is on here all the time on your behalf. i would love to see some of you kids get on here and thank your dads and moms for their devotion and hard work... PARENTS... do not defend them its their turn... kids have to EARN things.. thats what makes them grow into responsible decent adults!
Just having a MOM moment here and certainly NOT meaning any insult. i just would love to hear from some of them... ;-) i know alot of them do work hard helping....would love to hear from the kids!

Sorry but the race is on ABC.

There are many kids at the track that their daddy's have tons of money to through away so their kid can just sit around. They spend more for one ASA race than I spent last season. You know who they are and we aren't one of them.

And you know better than that about Dustin. Dustin has carried his own weight finanually since the day he got his drivers liesens. At the track we each have specifice duties and we each have to get them done. It is the only way we can race at the level we race at with only two people at the track. Dustin can do any one of my duties as well as I can do his. There are times when he is working his butt off and I am walking around with my beauty on my arm. LOL Me and Dustin are very lucky to have each other and we are thankful to have made it as far as we have. I am very proud of Dustin and you have know why ever since the first time you met him.

I don't think Dustin visits this site. He doesn't spend much time on the computer. He really doesn't have much spare time. But every chanch he gets to thank his Mom and Dad he does. Believe me he does.

While typing this VICI just got a nice clip on ABC while they were making a nice pass for 4th.

P.S. I think Dustin was looking pretty good after losing 25 lbs and getting some new eye candy on his arm. Don't you?

Dustin just called from LA International heading to Pheinox. He said he will be in Lauderdale around 10:30.
He said that they ran 3rd most of the race but had a lug nut jamb that cost them one position. Other that that the team was very happy with their effort and they partied like rock stars until 3:30 this morning. I'm sure it was well deserved. They work their butts off all week.
Lets wish them a safe flight home.
