Bobby is only trying to prove his point . He started a thread by mentioning it in another thread and calling it a test, and got a whole group of people to read it . Thus he feels he is the marketing genius of all time .

And he has a point . I have yet to see a poorly thought out , badly mis-spelled , unintellegible , unreadable post with lots of bouncing emoticons and exclamation points galore ( not to mention the always attention grabbing changes in font sizes ) from any of the other track owners or promoters in this or any other state . Bobby must have scared them off , they realize it takes a special type of person to pull off this coup of marketing . It appears that Bobby is the first to come up with this strategy . I wonder how long it will be before the others begin copying him . Probably any day now .

Self-deprecating statements about being a dumb school teacher aside......

....there were actually 500 (now 589) HITS on this thread. Not actual posts. Since there were only 14 actual authors making multiple posts (total 39), that must mean an awful lot of those hits came from the same folks who posted. My guess is they were checking back to see if anybody responded to their posts.

So....How does that scenario fit into a marketing strategy?

I've never taught high school but somewhere along the long I would have thought you would have to take an English course or two to obtain a degree as is required by most states to be a teacher.

The only thing Bobbie is guilty of is not 'proof reading' before he submits his article. I check all my words, as in this post, before hitting the button.
