Talked to the PRA office this afternoon. Both the December 1st race at South Georgia and the December 8th Lakeland show have been cancelled. I was told both tracks are now under new management and the contracts were not continued...Interesting side note, they said the Lakeland track is under contruction for a road coarse.

Yea I called the Lakeland track 2 weeks ago ,also there is no ARCA race on next years schedule.I'll be at the Desoto 400 Saturday .I missed it and the PRA race last year. -
What a crock. Somebody there needs to get their head on straight before that place becomes a Wal-Mart Dist. Center.
I heard the ARCA race had a real good crowd, and the PRA race was packed. If they didn't make money on that show, someone is seriously mis-managing the cash flow.
I don't think they could survive with just Speedfest, a couple of Hooters shows (which is dying anyways without TV time anymore), and the Sunbelt series and its offshoots (Goodyear/FMSC/SSS).
Just curious who is in charge now, since they said that it's under new management (as well as SGMP). There was supposed to be a "big announcement" about Lakelands future, and unless I missed it, there never was ANY kind of announcement.Comment

Looks like the rumors about the PRA folding may be true. That is too bad. The concept was executed much better than the IRL.Comment
