Who is this Guest?
Here are a few hints:

- He made his first Winston Cup start in 1963, at the age of 18. He made his last Winston Cup Start in 2004, a period spanning FIVE decades!
- In 225 career Winston Cup starts, he finished in the top ten 60 times, or approx. 1 in every 4 starts! He accumulated 19 top five finishes!
- He has won 13 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Races!
- He has won 1 Nationwide (formerly Busch) Series Races!
- He won the 1980 USAC Stock Car Championship! (2nd was Rusty Wallace, 3rd was Bay Darnell, 4th was Ken Schrader).
- In 1982, he made his first start in the Daytona 500, finishing 3rd! He was the top finishing first-timer in 1982, in a group that included Rusty Wallace, Mark Martin, Ron Bouchard, Jim Sauter, Rick Wilson, Tom Sneva, Delma Cowart and Lake Speed.
- His brother won the 1952 Indianapolis 500, and still is the youngest winner on record at 22 years, 80 days.
- As a young adult, he drove for "Bug" Go-Karts, winning karting events throughout the Southwest (see picture below).
