Thank you Robert . In this economy , race track improvements are few and far between . You told everyone you were going to make changes this year , and so far you have . New track personnel , new race formats , lower prices .
And now a new pit road , long overdue by the way . You're spending money instead of just talking . I'll be coming over there more often .

The Crews from MJS Concrete are working non-stop... Here is what it looked like this morning... (looking out from the Pit Road entrance from the infield)

This will be quite an upgrade for both Drivers and Crews when complete...

This is very cool. I have to say I think it has more to do with the Cup teams coming to test and providing them a better facility - but if it gets the weekly guys better stuff - all the better.

That may have played into the 'big picture'... but I can honestly say... it was more about the big races and making it safer than anything else...

there has been a lot of work going on behind the scenes to try and get this done... we were hoping to have it done before the Red-Eye, but so much was still up in the air [which is also one of the reasons we kept it under wraps until work began]... we wanted to make absolute certain that it was going to happen before we said anything...

Yes it will provide a better facility for the cup teams... but it will be much safer for crews during the big races, especially the Governor's Cup.
