Any Suggestions?

I'm helping a family put together a soiree for a man with a racing background and would appreciate some help / suggestions in locating something.

Can anyone recommend a source (racing memorabilia store, etc.) for a bulk purchase of small checkered flags, larger checkered flags, checkered flag banners, etc.?

I would prefer something in the Tampa Bay or Orlando area if possible.

I am sure you don't want to pay his retail price. How many do you Need? I am talking about the small flags the kids wave around. I think I may have seen 2 sizes there. Let me know before I leave to go down or call me on my cell 941-737-5857. Bob....

Do a google search for "checkered flags" or "racing flags" and you will find quite a few different suppliers with all sizes, etc. I just happened to be looking a few days ago for the same thing. I have good luck generally, ordering over the internet.

if you are still in the largo area. awhile back, party store at tri city plaza, east bay us19 had checkered flags

Bob - Thanks, I didn't actually see this in time to take advantage of the offer.

Darren - That is Party City, turns out they have franchises all over the place. Calls to the one at Tri-City, Countryside and St. Pete got same results, no racing flags or banners in stock. I quit after three calls and went to the net.
