Charlotte County Motorsports Park, March 14th Presents - ASALMS - The Best Show in Town!

The Best Show is Town is going to be happening in Punta Gorda, Florida on March 14th 2009. The ASA Late Model Series Presented by GM Performance Parts will be hosting the 1st South Division event of the Season at Charlotte County Motorsports Park. “The Real Diehl 100”
The ASA Late Model Series closed out our season in 2008 at CCMP and named Jimmy Lang the Champion after a long hard fought battle against nemesis Colt James. Jimmy won the Championship by a mere 8 points in front of a full house of excited fans.
The Series and teams are extremely happy to be returning to CCMP where the atmosphere is fan friendly and driver friendly. Although we won’t be naming a champion this time around; we will be showcasing quite a few potential Champions that are ready to fight for the right to be an ASALMS Champion.
We plan to see many of the ASALMS South teams returning from 2008 as well as many new faces ready to compete for a title. To enter the event you need to complete the entry form and fax or mail it back to the ASALMS Office; click Here to download the entry blank.
CCMP will host a ‘Test and Tune; on Friday, March 13th for ASALMS teams from 9am to 2pm. This is a great opportunity to shake down your car, go through tech and safety inspection and meet some of the teams you will be competing with all season. On Saturday, March 14th, ASALMS teams will have practice from 9am to 12pm, qualifying at 5pm and Racing starts at 6pm. Complete schedule will be listed on the entry blank.
