Michael is home right now on his R&R from Iraq. Today he is practicing his quad at Bithlo and I am hoping that I can talk him into going to the Lil 500 this evening. I am not needed for practice today at Orlando so I am going to watch him at the dirt bike track instead but I will see if I can get him to come there later. I don't want to race go-karts although I have my one and only trophy from a go-kart race, I can be a great cheerleader for others. But I hope to see you all tonight but if not, have alot of fun but then again, I know you will.

Actually it was alot of fun and a very nice turnout. I had 3 of my grandkids there and all but Nathan, who is only 9 months old, got to ride in go-karts. In fact, Kaiden actually got to steer alittle in one that he and Uncle Alex had that both steering wheels worked. But it was really fun and nice to see alot of people there. And I am sure someone will post some pictures since Boneman had his camera, Linda had her's and quite a few more. And both McCreary's were there along with Tim Russell and Chris Gillespie. And the go-kart rides themselves are very cheap compared to our go-kart track at the beach. But as far as I could tell, everyone was having fun.

You know your in trouble when.... You go to a go kart track with a bunch of lunatics and they won't let "normal people" ride go-karts with you and the other lunatics... Hey it is better than being kicked out right Ralph!!!...

Had a bunch of fun last night, it was great seeing everybody out... And at least until I left, no one got black flagged and tossed out... Yet... Although those poor kart turners were jumping awfully hard not to get run over mostly by the McCreary in the bunch...

And to all those who doubt, yes, Mark can drive a little bit, at least he wasn't backwards every lap... But we all have to remember that those Go-karts are "just his size"... ROFLMAO..

Have a great day all... Can't wait for practice next Saturday and the 14th at NSS...

My condolences to Todd, who must be feeling the "winds of time" as couldn't seem to get going last night.

I apologized to him as I lapped him.

Hell John... You were much too courteous as the rest just waved at him as they went by him...

                  Hey John,
Sorry to run into you that hard last night. I really felt pretty bad about it. I hope your teeth are ok. All in all it was a lot of fun and I hope we get to do it again.

Well that was interesting! It looks like everyone had a good time; I know my son and I did.

Gotta give credit to Tenney. That was the first time I've ever seen anyone arrive and depart by helicopter limo! He has a certain panache, like a Sprint Cup driver.

I have to agree about Todd's off night. Maybe he gave up passing for Lent.

Its tough to admit, but I was a little off too; I only won a single race. For some reason, everyone seems to pick on me.

Thanks to the mob who came and had fun! Now I have to sort through the pictures.

It was nice to meet some new people and put some more faces with names.

I had a lot of fun except for my second heat where I had a poor handling car, no doubt the result of the bump-and-run put on me by that low-down dirty dog, Boneman.

JT, see the new thread I started about your cameo appearance last night.

Trippy, "bump and run"? Are you kidding? I don't think I touched anyone all night.

You know who the roughest driver was? FASCAR starter Ralph Miller. Gee whiz, every time he got near me the sparks would fly.

THe most unorthodox driver? Announcer Dave Westerman! Honest, sometimes he would attack you in the straight by making a 90 degree T-bone turn. He usually seems so nice...

The most destructive driver? Hands down...Jane's son Alex! That guy gave me a headache! Everytime I got anywhere near Alex he would spin and drive into the side of me. Oy!

I would have to say the most brutal one out there was Mike45. Hopefully Mrs Williams will recover soon. Against the Bonemans best efforts I still managed 2 wins. After that I spent most of my time looking in the wrong direction or trying to keep from going a record 4 laps down. I think Mike ended up with 5 wins, but he cheated. Duane "twinkle toes" Kelley even made a rare public appearance.
