I gotten calls from several of the Drivers thinking it was only a Super Race this weekend. With the times so tuff. It is hard to have car count. With out car count it is hard to get Fan count. So we have chosen to combine the five types of Late Models for our Late Model Challenge Championship. CCMP is known as the "Late Model Capital of the South" (with the crate ASA Late Model Series 3 times, Unlimited Dirt’s Late Models 1 time, Pepsi Memroial 150 1 time, Supers 5 times, and our own Late Model Challenge Championship 12 times and two in the books for 2009) with over twenty plus races in the Season. Here is the rule package we will start with for the CCMP Late Model Challenge:
Good Year Challenge 4 brl spec 2750 lbs% left
Crate ASA Late Models 2700 lbs% left
Limited 2 brl or 4 brl spec 2750 lbs% Left
Limited stock clip Big Spring Crate 604 Crate 2600 lbs 58% left
Super's 4 brl 2800 lbs or 2850 lbs motor options 58% left
This is the starting point that we have developed. Knowing that CCMP is much different that SGMP, 5 Flags, New Smyrna, Citrus, Auburndale, and Desoto. Each should develop their own rule package to suit their own track (how one would make set of rules fit all the tracks that would have level playing field you would need to be NASCAR). So with that said. Here is the list of Drivers that said they would agree and be at this race:
