Their Dad, Norm Gimmler, was a former Modified driver on Long Island. It was great to meet him, and Thanks to all of the Gimmlers that made it there. Hope you had fun, and we'll see you again next year.

Also, the same day, I met Jeff Choquette's Grandfather Jack, who was the Nascar Modified Champion in 1954. Hard to believe a Champion from 55 years ago was there!

jeffs grandfather is a blast. we have spent alot of time chatting at different tracks and you do not want to mess with this man. he has NO fear... hahaha
he is a wonderful man and Jeff is fortunate to have the family and promoters hes had... a very interesting family... sorry i missed seeing jack. i did see jeff for a short time in the pits.

Nice seeing the WILD CHILD. We meet at Palatka when I was promoting and flagging the Mini Sprints and he was working for the track. White pants with the FLAMES!!!
