thanks jack for the kind words said on IFR show last night. What i did at CCMP while i was there was never about the money or the title. When your there everyday answering the phones and preparing for sat night you make a strong bond with the drivers and there needs, be it pit slabs, questions answered or just answering every time someone calls. I still feel a strong connection with the track and always will due to the all the friendships i have made there. It makes a difference to the drivers to compete in front of people in the stands, and that is why i helped getting results and up coming events out when you asked. Just a thank you goes a long way.
thanks for all you do for all of us, being able to go to karnac and get all the current info and feedback does make a difference.

We have never met that I know of but I try very hard to get up results and stories on karnac as fast as I can for the drivers, their families and friends. I also work in a pit office and it is not the money why we do the things we do, it is the people at the track. I have always believed that everyone deserves the best when it comes to getting out race news and I have tried to do that in my many years at karnac. Sometimes things do come up and I am alittle behind but I have always tried to get things up as soon as I get them. People don't understand sometimes why things are late but we all have other lives and sometimes they do come first but I have tried.

If you look at Southern Short Track, you will see how many releases I get everyday and if someone takes the time to send it to me, I will put it up. So thank you for your hard work and I do know what it is to run a pit office and do the things that are needed.

Business is business...

Linda and Jane are perfect examples of dedication. Track owners are only as good as the people who work for them. It is really important for them to choose the right people for the right job.
Linda is my closest friend. Her work ethics are amazing. she never takes off even when she doesnt feel good, she is never late, she does what has to be done no matter how difficult or how she feels, she knows how to set priorities. Linda is self motivated and loyal to a degree that sometimes is astonishing. She truly has a bond with the drivers and went out of her way to make sure they were comfortable. she knows which drivers need which slabs and they are reserved before the drivers even call. ;-) they love the special treatment..she calls them. they love it... they feel appreciated. she carried the phone with her everywhere she went making sure all calls were answered. she kept up with photo albums knowing fans and drivers love seeing their pics. she made up the programs, helped make trophies, made sure stories got in the newspapers, made sure the track had supplies needed, and after all that she took her work home and tho she got paid for 40 hours, she actually put in about 80!
If Linda collected $1098.20 that is what was turned in. Honesty is not a game with her. it is a way of life.
How do I know this? well Linda was never presumptuous... she would call every night and ask what i thought about things as a fan. we have always been straight up with each other and have developed a great deal of respect for each other. i would tell her what i could hear in the stands and pits that needed attention and she would look into it and fix it. sometimes we didnt agree but we always talked things out and worked for the best interest of bobby and CCMP.
The reason i am writing this is so that people who cant understand what happened will have an insight that is honest and real.
Linda is a hard core worker. She has no tolerance for people who get paid to do a job and dont do it. she has no tolerance for people who only work when watched. Even volunteers have an obligation. if you volunteer for anything you should do it. people depend on it. because of her hard core ethics, alot of people who were not doing their jobs up to her expectations did not like her and constantly bitched and complained to Bobby and gary... Linda was the GENERAL MANAGER! it was her responsibility to make sure everyone worked as a team and CCMP put on a good show for the fans and things went smoothe for the drivers..
She is not a mushy person who tells you silly things you want to hear. she is straight up and serious. this is a serious business. there are jobs that need to be done every single day of the week.
well, i guess you get the picture now. ive wanted to do this since Linda was let go. i think it was a huge mistake but Linda has moved on in her life and she is still loyal and attends races and helps with media attention.
Things are not always as they seem. the night Linda was let go was one of those hectic crazy nights and i think emotions just got out of whack. its a shame but its time to put it all behind.
Thank you LINDA JERICKA for all you did, and still do, for CCMP... you are a rare jewel in this sport and I am so happy that Jack set the records straight last night. You deserved it. God bless and keep you safe and happy!!!
