I know some of you are not into the "mushy" stuff but for the ones that are I wanted to send this wish out to you. My husband and I decided not to spend anything on each other because our anniversary is in two weeks so we have a big celebration then. I still buy my Mom a box of candy like Dad always did. My Dad left us over 12 years ago and I am walking in memory of him today at Baldwin Park in the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Yes, my father took his own life due to illness because he did not want to be burden to us. He is missed very much and one of my neighbors started up the Orlando chapter because she lost her Dad to this almost 5 years ago.
One of my husband's co-workers knew that I had a very rough year last year and is giving my husband and me two tickets for the Daytona 500. We have never been and I am so excited about getting into the fanzone area to meet some of the drivers. We wish we had another ticket for our son to go but he said for us to go and have fun. Hoping the rain stays away for tomorrow and we can handle the crowds.
