Earl Pearson Jr. won Tuesday's UMP Late Model race at Volusia. The track was pretty decent tonight. The track crew went out twice and worked up the track. That did the trick as it was really starting to blacken up before they did that. UMP modified feature was won by Ausin Dillon followed by his brother Tyler. They are the grandsons of NASCAR team owner Richard Childress. I thought the racing was very good tonight. I also got a preview of tomorrows show as the Big Block Modifieds practiced tonight.

Hey Winger, what do the car counts look like for tonight?

Car counts in Late Models are awesome, guessing nearly 70. Big Blocks had over 30 practicing but it could have been more. They had 2 sessions, one before races and one after, and some didn't do both sessions. I'd guess about 40 should be ready to race but I won't guarantee anything.
