Modified Reunion

I am going to shoot video of the reunion Friday and then Friday night I am going to shoot the Richie Evans Memorial race. All that can't make it to the race will still be able to enjoy it. I talked to Jack tonight and we are not sure how we will package it but I'm going to shoot it and we'll worry about that later. Bob, please contact the track immediately (386-427-4129)... there is an exclusive Video contract with Gordon Motorsports and I'm not sure how it will play out if you intend to sell or otherwise distribute your videos.

Gordon Motorsports hasn't called ME about doing anything with the Reunion either. THEY don't have a contract with the Modified Reunion either.

I have NO control over the NSS contracts, but when it comes to my event, Bob is welcomed and encouraged to cover it any way he'd like.

I did not think he was SELLING it I thought it was a donation type deal for the runion. I know I would donate to him the coast of the dvd and little to pay the expenses.

That is as good as the idiot I ran into who wanted ALL MY film from my Still and Video because he had the contract for all PICTURES at the event. I told him buzz off and walked away, That was a HIGH SCHOOL football game.

the reunion is a separate entity from racing. by all rights, Bob should be able to do his videos without infringing on track photograpers rights. it is outside of the track in the parking lot. so make sure you ask about that before you get angry.

I shot a Evil Kenivel show one time and when the show was all over this dude came to me with 2 deputy's an made me record over the show. At first he demanded that I give him my tape and I told him to go pound sand. The deputys convinced him that if I recorded over that footage it would be ok. I didn't tell the dude I had another camera in the infield shooting from another
angle. I still have it some where. I showed it to all my buddys but I never sold it. I JUST TALKED TO Jack a few minutes ago and he advised me to call Jerry and let him talk to them. I tryed to call the track and its busy and busy. We'll work something out I am sure. I am able to work with most people unless they are just complete A$$es. Then I shoot them! NOT! I don't get angry much Carol. Call me and give me Jerry's number. I was at the wing thing last night and Jack and I were talking about it would be nice to put parts of the Evans Memorial on the reunion video. Thats where it came from. We just thought it would be a nice touch. But it ain't something worth fighting over. 2 of our truck drivers are going to NSS Friday to race the truck race and they ask me to tape their race. I was referring to filming the races... NOT the reunion. Look, I have NOTHING to do with the contract the track has... I just know that it exists (they [Gordon] have presented it to me MANY times regarding misc B/S)...

I just didn't want Bob to have any hassles from anyone when he is here... I was not trying to make waves... just bring it up so this can be an enjoyable experience for everyone, without headaches.

I talked to Jerry Binner and he will talk to Kim in the morning or maybe tonight. I don't think there is a conflict at all. We want to shoot the Richie Evans Memorial as it relates to the re-union. I have no desire to over shadow Gordon and his contract or take bussiness from him. NSS is too far for me to go unless I had a broadcast contract. The seas are calm, no waves. Thanks Bob...
