World Figure 8® Racing Tour

It takes a great group of people to put on a big event. And the upcoming Florida Figure 8 Championship has the team in place to pull off this four race series at the Auburndale Speedway from February 12th to the 15th, 2009. Headlining the dates will be the fastest Figure 8 cars on the planet. Drivers from several spots across the country look to challenge the best home state stars. But they are just the tip of the iceberg in these packed racing programs. V-8 Bombers, Mini Stocks, and Scramblers will compete for Florida championships while the Florida Open Wheel Lites have their own internal point’s battle on the agenda. The Sportsman cars will have a one night challenge on Saturday as well.
We are very happy to have many great individuals on our staff making the World Figure 8® Tour one top team. From greeting fans as they purchase tickets into the event to interviewing the night’s final winner in victory lane, the staff will help make it a better experience the entire day. That goes for the racer’s side as well. The track crew has safety first and foremost on their minds. They have loads of experience at their job and are lifelong fans of short track racing. The World Figure 8® Racing Tour would like to thank each and every one of our employees who are helping put of the Florida Figure 8 Championship.

The Florida Figure 8 Championship is sanctioned by the World Figure 8® Racing Tour. It has dates set for February 12th to the 15th, 2009 at the Auburndale Speedway. These events evolved from the legendary World Figure 8® Championship held each year at the EDCO Welding Indianapolis Speedrome®. The $20,000 to win, 33rd Annual World Figure 8® Championship is September 10th to 12th, 2009.
