There has been some discussion regarding the Fastruck Series indicating that there is interest in possibly changing from 2 barrel to 4 barrel (650) carbs in the Fastruck Pro's. This would differentiate the Pro's from the Kids and also help to make the Pro's racing a little faster and hopefully therfore more exciting. Teams would of course still be allowed to use the 2 barrel if they chose and could be allowed a weight break if it was determined that they could not be competitive. This would also allow other competitors from other tracks or series which run a 2 barrel to race in any Fastruck event and be competitive without having to change over to a 4 barrel for the Fastruck races they chose to compete in. We at Fastruck would like to get the opinion of as many of those drivers who will be competing as possible before any official rules changes are made as this is your series and you are the ones who will determine what will make you want to come and compete with us. Please contact Ronnie Simms; MCTIMERON@ aol.com or myself (Charlie Clinker)colonelc1323@msn.com via e-mail and let us know your thoughts on the matter. Please respond as quickly as possible so that we can implement this change as quickly as possible if that is the preference of the majority. Thanks and Don't forget Saturday March 14th at CCMP is the first points event of the 2009 season, let's get a field of 20+ trucks there that night and really put on a SHOW!!!!!

650Holley would definately make the racing a bit more exciting, especially since we are going back to the A300 GOODYEAR. I think the trucks are a blast and hope it gets back to what it used to be with 50+ trucks at each event. With the economy the way it is the truck series is ideal for those who want to race fast and inexpensively. I ran in 2005-2006 and only had to buy right side tires every 3rd race and left sides about every 5th race. The tires are much better than the slicks that everyone has been running.
Thanks and good luck!
