Questions:
Will Ocala have a Karnac section this weekend?? I will be there on Saturday nights evening and would love to meet a few of you wonderfully fun peeps That is the THIRSTY part. I can't freakin wait. Don't worry, i also will be bundled up!!

410 Sprints: are they with or without wings? Not that it matters but just wondering. Also, what exactly is a UMP modified? Are they basically IMCA type or somewhere between a NE big block and Midwest mods?
Looking forward to both.

What exactly is the format for Saturdays show? Time trials, Heats, Consi's, A/B main? Also how many laps??

RIDE: Although i can use my own vehicle, i am looking for a ride from Inverness to the Mod Reunion show on the 13th. I don't want to leave the wife stranded. If anyone from the area can help me out let me know. Depending on your "space" availability in your vehicle i would love to bring some of my memorabilia to the show. Again, depending on your space depends on if i can bring a back pack or a box or 2. I think all would appreciate what i have and dammit..........i want to get me some autographs that i missed out on when i was a kid!! Jerry B: if you read this, i am trying to get their this year come hell or high water
I am interested in going to VSP on the 8th for the WoO and B/B mods, if anyone might be heading that way.

Hey Dennis,

The sprints do have wings on them, and the mods are open motor but not the big blocks. THere were a ton of both though at practice tonight. From what I can tell, the sprints will time trial at 6:30 with heats starting at 8 p.m. Features every night.

Joe pretty much answered your question. Basically the UMP and IMCA modifieds are the same thing.
I'm planning on making some of the Volusia Big Block shows but they don't run on the 8th. It's the UMP modifieds and WoO sprints on that day. The Big blocks will run with the Late Models from the 11-14th. I'll be going early so I can get some pit shots, etc. but I think I can find room in my pick-up if you'd like a ride one night. It won't be the 14th though, going to Auburndale for the figure 8's that night. There's a huge difference in the Big Block modifieds and the UMP/IMCA. I love the big blocks, since I grew up around them. Let me know and we'll see what can be arranged. BTW, plan on being at Ocala Saturday. Look for someone carrying a couple cameras and a backpack. If it's real cold, I'll have a blue, gold, and white windbreaker on.
