Man this track is racy. The progressive banking provides 2 or 3 equal grooves around the whole track. How's this for asphalt racing, actual passing without jacking-up the car in front of you. Packed grandstands as well. It's like dirt racing, only you don't get dirty!

this and alien apocalypse(bruce campbell flick,army of darkness).once these guys got thawed out a little,the pushing aroung started.some more so than others.maybe some of these guys will come to florida and play. i'm not going to hold my breath.

I tuned in thinking I was going to see some young guns, looking to showcase their talent. Instead I got Ron Hornaday, same old, same old rerun. Doesn't this guy ever get it? I am too old, too fat, too slow and too stupid to even think about driving a race car again. Yet, even I could have made that Hornaday move with at least the same expertise. I am sure he wonders why he isn't being wooed by a Hendrick or a Gibb. It takes NO talent to do something like that and ruin a bunch of drivers' chances and wreck a bunch of good racecars in the process.

Then to make the situation even worse the announcers (Mike Joy and Phil Parsons, I think) did everything they could to try to convince me that I didn't see what I just saw. The best (or worst) part was when they reran the tape trying to make the poor kid in the outside car look like he "came down" on Hornaday. Although later in the broadcast they did try to diplomatically place the blame where it originally belonged, it was too late. There must have been a bunch of Emails to SPEED or something to get the "clarification".
Even Dr. Dick got visibly upset with the kid's crew chief when he made reference to "idiot drivers". Dr. Dick couldn't change the course of the conversation quick enough.

But, what do I expect when the first word in the race name is NASCAR. Then you add in the finish and the DQ. It just reinforces why I will go to my local short tracks whenever I can this year.

the derfster has a point. if we're going to penalize Logano for taking out the leader ... why aren't we penalizing Hornaday for doing the exact same thing?

my personal theory is that Kyle Busch gave his driving cooties to Hornaday last year.
