March 13th Friday Night:
First round of the Legends and Bandolero's Triple Crown races.
The ASA Late Models will have Test and Tune Night.
The Rough and Tumble Thunder Trucks (Double Points)
The Road Warriors Teams with Attuidtude (Double Points)

March 14 Saturday Night:
ASA Late Model 100 Season Opener, Round two of the Triple Crown of Legends, FASTRUCK Pro's and Kids, Bandolero's, Desoto Champ Carts

March 15 Sun Afternoon:
Final Round of the Triple Crown, Pro 4,(Double Points) Fab 4(Double Points), Open Wheel Modifieds 50, TQ Midgets, Dwarf, Bandolero's, Figure 8 boats $500.00 based on 10 cars with $50.00 entry we supply the Boats.

Gee, I'd love to make the Bandolero Triple Crown, but I've got better plans. First, I've got an appointment with a Jehovah's Witness who also sells life insurance, then I am going to income tax preparation school for the whole weekend!

Seriously, the show at CCMP sounds like fun, but there is no denying that Bandos are not my cup of tea. I feel strongly that they annoy race fans who pay money to see good races. Bobby, have you considered running them before the real racing show starts?

Boneman I got the answer for you!!!

First of all I hope there is 20 to 30 Bandolero's. It is the First National Points race of the 2009 Season. The ones going for a National Championship should all be there. Plus many of the ASA Late Models Teams came from the Bando and Legend ranks and may put the next generation of Driver in their cars. If so they should put on a heck of a show. But, what I tell the Race Fans that dislike or feel Go-Kart, Mini Cups classes are a waste of time. I try to explain to them that it is a feeder division, and most of the time they have a Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart, or some other famous racer T-shirt on. I inform them that they were Champion in the Karts first. And if that doesn't work. I tell them that we do not have Intermission. So I call it the Go-Kart Intermission so they can get the food, drink. and use the rest room. This way they will not miss any of the rest of the program. I hope this will work for you. Hi Bobby, I appreciate your most gracious reply. I really winced while poking a little fun at your track. I happen to be a fan of yours and am always hoping that things work out at CCMP. Don't let us turkeys get you down.

Ok, so the Bandos are not my style. Hey, if they help out your track then I will gladly accept being wrong about them. I feel strongly that they were way, way over-emphasised at Orlando 5 or 6 years ago, and that accelerated the tracks downward attendance spiral. I'd hate to see that repeated anywhere.

Wow

I am Looking forward to this weekend allready. Ok maybe I am a littel like boneman and not looking forward to it because of the bandolero's.. But WOW there is lots of other great racing that weekend. It is going to be an action packed Three days and with the ASA season opener there could be 30 cars all looking to get off to a great ASA south points season. And who knows I a even become a small bandolero fan. You never know.
