It's time to start making your plans to join us for Modified Reunion II. Last years edition went over so well, we've had people inquiring about this year's event for months already. Make your plans early, and join us for a day full of fun, a night at the races, and a lifetime of memories.

Where: New Smyrna Speedway, Samsula, Fl.

    When: Friday, February 13th, 2009

Who: The Cars and Stars of Modified racing's Golden Era. Last years edition featured almost 90 Modified Racers, Car Owners, and Track Officials

Time: Noon until 5:00 for Drivers, Car Owners, Officials, and Fans

9:00 AM for Vintage Racecar Parking, until 7:00 PM when the Vintage Racecars will take to the Speedway for display, Interviews, and Hot-Lap Session

Events: Day-long Interviews, Photo Opportunities, Slot-Cars, Wheel of Fortune, Autographs, and plenty of good old-fashioned Bench Racing

Bonus: Pre-Entered Drivers, Owners and Vintage Racers will receive
a pair of Grandstand tickets to the evenings races, courtesy of
    New Smyrna Speedway

Cost: Free, Free, Free… there will be no cost to anyone who chooses to attend. Just bring a camera, an autograph book, scrap books, and all of your fond memories

The 2008 edition was honored to have these guests, among MANY others: Ron Bouchard, Bugs Stevens, Dutch Hoag, Bill Wimble, Doug Heveron, Bill Spade, Chuck Boos, Ed Ortiz, George Summers, Sonny O'Sullivan, Bentley Warren, Jim Winks, Billy Harmon, Gil Hearne, Bob Judkins, Bob Garbarino, Jim McGraw, Dick Kluth, Jerry Gradl, Gene Bergin, Bill Brainard, Mickey Corr, Joe Buchek, Andy Romano, Ron Narducci, Don Stives, Satch Worley, Jerry Mathis, Mike Loescher, Pete Hayes

It was an amazing day for a life-long fanatic of this sport like I am. This
years event has the potential to be even bigger (and I promise BETTER)
this time around. A lot of fun was had by hundreds of people, and it was
surely a day to capture a lifetime of memories. Please make your plans
to attend and please help spread the word to others in our racing
    community.

I would also like to send out a sincere Thank You to all of the people who
made last years event a success. Without the participation of hundreds of you, this never could have come together. For that, I will never forget you fine people that make up the greatest sport on earth!

Jerry, I am going to shoot video of the Re-union. Can you provide me with a list of the things that really need to be captured on tape. I want to get as many interviews on tape as I can. I wonder is there a way we could gather the old timers and pass a Mic around and let their stories feed off each other. I could put a tripod in front of them and capture each. Maybe you have some Ideas. You can call me if you have time, 941-737-5857. Thanks Bob....

PS: What time do I need to get there? Robert Howell is coming with me to help me and we will need a motel that night. We are going to Auburndale to shoot the Figure Eights Saturday. Bob..

Hey Jerry.. As always I will be there... But due to my work schedule, I am supposed to be working that night.... I may not be able to stay there very long.... Do me a favor and give me a buzz when you get a minute so I can check my schedule with yours...

                Have a great day all...
