Nothing against you or your Team here, but to claim the 93 won that race by any other means than contact with the leader, you guys are nuts. It's time to just face the facts, that it was an ill-timed move that didn't work out as planned. If you believe that the manner that the 93 got to the line first is completely acceptable, I hope you also realize that a sure win could be taken away from you just as easily as you want this one handed to you. And, you'll be lucky to come out of it with your car in one piece.
Granted, I also believe that the track should have handled the finish differently. Todd had a good point here...they could have realigned the field with a 1 lap shootout, which would have put Dorer into victory lane. BUT, it also could have wound up with 2 very damaged cars, as I'm sure Kay would have felt shafted (and he WAS shafted by the 93), and took it out on your car & driver. Luckily for him, it didn't come off that way, and he took the check home that he earned. Brandon didn't EARN that win.
And just so you don't think I have any bias toward the Speedway or Johnny Kay, you should know that I am a big fan of Brandon Johnson's, I live in the same town he does, and I faithfully cheered him for 149-3/4 laps. I still AM a Johnson fan. I just think your driver and team would come off as a whole lot more respectable if you all were to stand up and say "I screwed up, and I apologize".
And say what you will, deep down you know that "brake failure" for only 1/4 of 1 lap, is a crock, and you know it too! Those brakes worked just fine, time after time, when he closed the gap on the leader several times. You can't do that with brakes that are not working.
