Knoxville Championship Cup Series
Knoxville, Iowa - The Knoxville Championship Cup Series is the 360 and 410 point series for the Knoxville Raceway. The Knoxville Raceway series has been, and continues to be the premier weekly sprint car series in the United States. The weekly purse is unequaled, and thanks to Lucas Oil, it gets even better in 2009.
Awarding over $30,000 at each of our weekly events, over $250,000 in cash and merchandise for everyone in the points brings the total to over ¾ of a million dollars for the series.
In 2009, the Knoxville Championship Cup Series will be marketing the series and the points chase much more aggressively. We will market the drivers and teams and play off the drama of the coveted title of Knoxville Championship Cup Series Champion.
The drivers and teams that compete weekly at Knoxville Raceway are truly the heart and soul of Sprint Car Racing. They work hard to bring the fans the best racing from coast to coast. Many of the top drivers from Knoxville Raceway move on to compete with the World of Outlaws or even to NASCAR events.
Throughout the 2009 season, fan festivities such as driver autograph sessions, simulator car rides/contests and many other activities both on and off site will be planned.
