I hope 2009 is a better year for everyone. Whether it be finding work, better economy, more racing, health and family. Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to you Cara. Hopefully 2009 will be a much better year for all of us in everyway. At least, it really can't get much worse since I honestly believe we are at the bottom of the barrel now.

Now, what are your plans for New Year's Eve and everyone else who visits this board? Are you going anywhere or staying home.

Tonight Danny, Jeremy, Alex, Kaiden and I will have a fire in the firepit my son got me off of craigslist, a few fireworks for Jeremy and Alex, some marshmellows, and just be together. This will be Kaiden's first New Year's Eve and the first time we have ever had Jeremy for New Year's Eve. Then tomorrow, mom and I will make blackeyed peas for the family and our 3 homeless friends, collards, mustard greens, and cornbread. And maybe throw in a nice boneless pork roast big enough for us and them. But the point is, we will all be together and that is the best New Year's Day I can think of.
