Being an ASALMS official brings back many great memories from 2008. We raced at Bristol, shared the day at Gateway Speedway with the Craftsman Trucks, had several NASCAR drivers come and race with us and many others.
My absolute favorite was the ASA race at CCMP and there are 2 reasons for that. First, it was one of our best races of the year filled with action and lead changes. But more importantly, it was seeing the hard work of the best promoter in Florida, Bobby Diehl, come to fruition by packing the house for our race. Sure, he can be a dreamer but what have you got without hopes and aspirations? Hard work, customer relations, and trying to do it right for all involved has gone a long way for him.
Thanks to Bobby for making the ASA at CCMP the highlight of my racing year.
Let's do it twice in 2009!!
