  • Estle Morrow Passes

Estle Morrow, 60 Year Old Street Stock Driver At Ocala Speedway Died On Tuesday At His Home. Estle Never Won Much, Hell Most Nights He Might Get Lapped, But That Never Botherd Him.you Could Never Tell If Just Wadded The Car Up Or Placed 3rd. He Would Come Back To The Pits And Say"boy, That Was Fun". Fun That Was What Estle Was All About. Isnt That The Reason We All Started This In The First Place? I Will Miss You My Buddy.

I remember racing againt him myself...very friendly guy off the track and in the pits. he really did seem to enjoy himself.......i remember his car was the 1st time i saw (Bull Balls) hanging down under the back bumper. I think it was 10 or 12 yrs ago.
Normalcy is a myth. what is perfectly normal for the Cheetah, Becomes absolute chaos for the Antelope.

So that really was his name in the paper?? I really didn't want to believe it. I saw him in October at the track and he looked fine. In the paper it said to give to Hospice in his memory. What happened to him Mike?

I'm sorry to tell everyone this[ that really know me ] but Estelle was one of my favorites at the track. What Tireman said was true about this guy, He was always happy......Always. Well always, except one time. He got into it one night with this guy who always beat on everyone. Him and this other guy brought out the caution and then Estele went after him. Personally I couldn't blame him but rules are rules. I had him black flagged and then after the races I went over to talk to him. I really dreaded having to do this because I liked him so much. But you know what he had to say?....... Well before I could say anything, he told me " Jimbo I'm sorry for what I did But I'm tired of him beating on people week after week and tonight wasn't his night." Then he told me he would except any penalty that I gave him. I wish more people would be like this man was. You know, admit when you are wrong.
I always liked this guy because he was always happy, whether he ran up front or ran in the back. But the night that he did lose his temper was the night the he really earned my respect because he messed up and then he admitted it. To me, that shows a persons real character, not just because he was a nice guy.

Estele, even though I only knew you from the race track, I am a better person from knowing you. I would say rest in peace but I know you are in heaven, partying at a race track up there......I miss you brother!!!
