I know you still read the board Michael when you can and that this year is very hard for you at Christmas missing Nathan's first Christmas and being with your family. Everyone is at your house in Colorado - Kimber, Makayla, Nathan, Donny, Bernadette, and Scotty and you are the only one missing and very far away. I know your Christmas won't be the same but know that we all have you in our hearts and in our thoughts today and tomorrow. Without you and all the soldiers, we might not have a safe Christmas.
To Michael, Joey and all the soldiers, thank you for giving up your families and homes to help protect us here at home. You are not forgotten this holiday and we are all forever grateful for your service. I know Christmas won't be the same for you in Iraq and Afghanistan but please know that your country, your families are grateful and respect you so much for your sacrifices.
Merry Christmas Michael and hopefully see you in March 2009 when you can come home for two weeks R&R.
