  • Up-date on the "Noose is Tighting"!!!

Yesterday. Jason spoke with the DOT and the Sheriffs Office. The people in charge of the case are on it. With the economy in the condition it is in THIEFT is at it's highest point in years. Theirs a New Sheriff in Town and they want to make an impact. GET the Thieves! Also, he goes to the track and loves racing. Remember the campaign signs during the Election. If I were looking at 5 years hard time for Interstate Transportation of Stolen Goods (GRAND THIEFT) with a value over $5000.00. I sure would want to give them back before to much time is spent. Remember "Time is Money". Spread the word.

Hope you find the dumba** who did this. Bobby, I hear you got CCMP rock and rolling and wish you the best of luck. Its so hard in this business we damn sure dont need no one steeling tires and equipment. Keep up the good work.

Hey Rick Day Please call me!!!!

Just wanted to fill you in on Florida's ruthlessness, cut throat business of steeling ones hard earned Series. The "DON" is DEAD!!!! Question is where is he now. Answer he's gone and hopefully forgotten.
God I remember the SARA, Fla Pro, I'm sure there were many others.
Hell he even killed FASCAR Touring Series; Sun Belt, Good Year or Hoosier Challenge, Gulf Coast Modified's, Fla Mini Stock, Southern Sportsman.
The FASTRUCK is the lone survivor. There is a GOD!!!!

          Hey Rick,

I wondered where you went when Terry closed down San Antonio. I figured you would land on your feet somewhere. It's good to hear you are alive and kicking.

Hey Burt, hows it going? Good to see you are still around too. Are you going to travel with the ASA next year? I don't think I'll be at the opener, the UDLMS has a show that night at Hendry County. Our series has just purchased that track and thats the first show of 2009. See Ya Bob...

Are you serious with that last post about the "don" ? Just when we are all pulling for you and hoping they find the thief that ripped you off you come out with a with a 6 year old way off saying "nanny nanny boo boo"to a fellow race promoter. I'll be honest I really don't know you or the "Don" ,but I do know that the end of some of those series really effects alot of us racers in a negative way. I hope this is not the way I read this and its some kind of inside joke so if I am wrong please fill me in.

Negativity sure hasnt helped racing and I hate to see someone kicked while they are down, but when you look around and see how well some of the other tracks are doing, someone needs to step up and say something. Maybe peer pressure will help because pressure from the racers and fans doesnt. I guess its safe to say that "Don" just doesnt have the touch or has had a run of bad luck. All I can say is that hopefully from the ashes of the SSS a new and better sportsman series will arise. SOON

I can't speak about Bobby Diehl but I can speak about Rick Day he is one of the best promoters I've ever seen in Fl. I enjoyed every race I ran with the SARA Modifieds he made sure to talk to everyone the same and showed you respect no matter where you ran on the track and talk about a banquet it was first class. Rick sure do mis the SARA days and the fun we had. I havn't talked to a guy yet that had a bad thing to say about Rick. Maybe Robert will get him to run OSW and some other stuff. Take care Rick and have a good Christmas.

                            really?

last i heard he was going to try to run a late model series in 09 and he still had his fingers in Columbia County as well as having the FASCAR tire deal. that's all changed?

                            you're sure?

The Sara days were fun, decent scheduling and great car counts.
