  • Frasson's new ride for 2009

Here is the first look at Jerry's modified Lewis & Shepherd that will compete in the FASTLIFT series.

It should be an uplifting experience.

    Oh Fras....

I know things are catching up... But you might get 8 mph with that.. I would hope that you could go a little faster than that.. Maybe an off road shooting boom forklift they go about 20...

Don't forget his ill-fated attempt at swamp buggy racing.

Most people also forget that he was a regular SCCA competitor in the late 70s. Here he is working his way through the horseshoe at Daytona in the family business backed Pinto. I believe he finished 14th in class that day.

This of course led to his ill advised move into IMSA GT racing in the early 80s. Sqaundering his family fortune on this Mustang, he finished a distant 27th overall in 1981 and moved to Florida in disgrace shortly thereafter. Note this was also a rare season where he did not campaign the #118 we all know him for. Instead he dropped a #6 off the traditional family backed dirt modified number of #66.

I was hoping I would not have to go here...
After Jerry washed out of Bandelero school, he ended up in NASGRASS.

Some cool rides there, but now Dad is looking over all the old checkbooks to find out how much sponsorship he really had out there. Apparently, he doesn't "remember" writing a check for the Mustang!
