We truly do not have a "Best of the Best" when it comes to announcing in this State... I had a severe sore throat this weekend and could not have made it thru the Charity Truckers event without the help of Joe Linebarier on Friday and the "tag team" of Bill Green and Rick Anges Saturday... Thanks also to BJ from Ocala who also offered his services as well... Still had fun and got to meet a lot of people for the first time and hang out with some old friends too... After hearing Joe, Bill, and Rick and listening to BJ's smooth delivery, the fans around here have really got it good...

Thanks! I appreciate the kind words. To be honest, it was nice that everything worked out as it did. I can't eat funnel cakes and announce at the same time, so I was happy to kick back, see some good racing, and make myself fatter. It was great meeting you, and maybe one day I'll make it back to Orlando. Thanks for allowing me to have a very fun evening and be just a race fan!

Mr. Westerman, It was truly an honor sittin in the ''Big Chair'' Friday night. You are an icon in Florida and your vast knowledge of our sport's history is a gift to all of us. Take care of that instrument and I hope you feel better soon.

I can truly say that I have had the season of seasons for an announcer. Working for the the best series in the Southeast with the United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series. Being on the mic at some of the most historic and famous short tracks in the southeast. Calling some the best Late Model races of 2008. Working side by side for not one but two races with in my opinoin is the best voice in the south, Joe Linebarier. Then topping it off filling in for a man that knows more about Florida racing than most will forget, Dave Westerman, at a race that with such a great cause.

Get well Dave you are truly a gift to us and this sport and this state and thank you all who made 2008 one hell of a year for me!!!
